Additionally, Bethesda confirmed that when you have Fallout 4 mods installed, due to first-party considerations, you cannot earn any achievements.

The developers also talked about how in order to play Fallout 4 mods that make use of the game's DLC, you will need to own that DLC.

When you use mods, the game creates a new save. If something goes wrong with the mod and you lose progress (the game crashed at one point during the livestream), you can revert back to your regular, non-mod save game.

Bethesda's Fallout 4 Xbox One livestream, during which the company will show off the game's mods program, kicks off in just a few minutes.

The mods playable on Xbox One were made on PC using Fallout 4's Creation Kit. Three mods coming to Xbox One have been announced, one of which is an alien assault rifle.

When Fallout 4's Xbox One mods go live on Xbox One on May 31, players will be able to log into Bethesda.net in the game and search for the creations they want. Bethesda has not yet announced how many will be available at launch; more details may come during the stream.
